Hi, I'm Britt!
I fell in love with the Newfoundland dog a long time ago when my mother started breeding these amazing gentle giants in CA! After years of watching the joy her dogs provided to other people, as well as my personal experience owning and training one myself, I decided it was time to start my own line of Newfies. After almost a decade of training dogs, I have learned a lot about developmental stages and the science behind canine behavior, including how to effectively raise the best possible puppies!

I have a passion for educating and empowering dog owners to help them and their pups live the best possible lives, and that starts from day one by doing my part to help shape the perfect puppy. I have done Service Dog work and Therapy Dog training with my personal Newfs, as well as some sport work like Agility and Dock Diving that I'm eager to spend more time doing. In the long run, I'd like to partner with local charities and Therapy groups to pair trained puppies to those in need since I strongly believe Newfoundlands have the natural disposition to be supportive, gentle, and stable.

When I started my search for the best genetics to get the line started, I was absolutely SHOCKED to find so many large scale breeders selling giant dogs with melting faces, new designer coat colors, and poor builds for the sake of an AKC Championship title or creating the biggest dog they could where health didn't seem to matter a lot of the time. The original purpose of these great dogs required them to be athletic and lean (read more about their history under the "All About Newfies" tab above!) so that's what I spent over a year searching for to ensure my vision wasn't compromised.

Meet the Dogs!

The Wag More Pack!
We have 6 dogs total at the moment, including a menagerie of misfit mutts that are predominantly ACDs. Not only do our other dogs help us raise our Newfy pups, they are a huge part of why Dunkel and Annie are in such great shape: our Newfs have been raised around crazy herding breeds and have learned to keep up!
