Why our Newfs?
Our Newfoundland dogs are family first, so they have been raised in a home environment as well regular interaction with friends, family, and the public! We prioritize their quality of life and ensuring they're the ideal ambassadors for what we love about this breed so much. With that in mind, we are considered "Hobby Breeders" as in we don't run a large kennel full of dogs nor do we breed upon every heat cycle our female goes through. Instead, when the time is right and she's in good health, we pair with the IDEAL Stud to produce the best line of healthy, beautiful dogs! Now, just because we don't breed frequently doesn't mean the qualities of our puppies is anything less than ideal, it means we take our time to DO IT RIGHT!
So, what do we prioritize?
We primarily breed for family companion dogs, but the genetics and temperaments we aim for can often make great Therapy, Service, and Sport Dogs as well! Each individual puppy is temperament evaluated to help us select their ideal home based on what you seek, so you know your newest fluffy addition will be the best match!

HEALTH & BUILD!
Our number one priority is to breed healthy, athletically built dogs that will live a long and comfortable life! All genetic testing is done to ensure we're passing along not only their good looks, but ideal genetics to prevent discomfort and medical issues in the future. Both parents are OFA tested for hips, joints, heart health, degenerative diseases, and more before a pairing is even considered. We also selectively pair for "tighter faces" to avoid excessive drooling and droopy eye issues like cherry eye and conjunctivitis. There was a time Newfs were very athletic dogs bred for purpose rather than just XXL drool machines, so that's what we breed for.
BALANCED TEMPERAMENTS!
Newfies are so well known for their loving, overall even temperaments, and we make a point to breed for that as well! Not only do we make sure our puppies are genetically predisposed to have these positive traits, but we also provide a nurturing environment to build confidence, resilience, problem solving skills, early social skills, and more!
