What makes our puppies so special?
Most people don't realize this, but the mental and physical stability of a dog can be drastically effected in the first couple months of their existence, including while they're in the womb! With my background in canine development and behavioral training, I've seen a whole spectrum of dogs who unfortunately were setup to fail simply because of where they started from.

Did you know?
-
Stress hormones from mom are transferred to puppies while she's pregnant, so living in a stressful environment (like puppy mills, shelters, homeless stray situations, abusive owners, backyard breeders, health issues, etc) leads to puppies that are prone to anxiety and other fear based behavioral issues in the long run.
-
The first 12 weeks of a puppy's life are a CRUCIAL socialization period, so interacting with new people and appropriate dogs during this time frame can shape the way they view others for the rest of their existence.
-
Puppy's brains are still physically developing for the first several months of their life, so you can start building neurological pathways from the day they are born!
1
Desensitizing, Exposure, & Socializing
Puppies are exposed to different sounds, sights, textures, touch, smells, and external experiences in a safe way from the beginning! They start with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) daily, followed by appropriate socialization with other balanced dogs as well as people of different shapes, sizes, and ages. They also go through the Volhard PAT (Puppy Aptitude Test) to help pair you with the right personality.
2
Confidence Building & Problem Solving Skills
At only a couple weeks old, puppies are introduced to enrichment activities that encourage problem solving through puzzles and environmental interactions. Not only does this help build resilience and brain development, it builds confidence through positive and successful engagement!
